Please Welcome MPC Whittie
Please welcome Multi-Purpose Canine (MPC) “Whittie” to our Project K-9 Hero Pack as our 282nd program member! MPC Whittie served for seven years with the U.S. Army’s 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment.
MPC Wittie’s service was instrumental in the 1st Ranger Battalion’s “War Dog Program.” MPC Whittie deployed twice in support of the Global War on Terror in Afghanistan , and once in support of Operation Inherent Resolve in Syria .
MPC Whittie was utilized in high-level Special Operations Missions performing Fast Rope Insertion (FRIES), Rappelling, Hoisting, Long Distance Movements, Raids, Scouting, Tracking, and Explosive Detection.
Throughout Whittie’s career, he has worked with top tier organizations within the Department of Defense, as well as high-level government agencies from outside the DoD, undoubtedly elevating effectiveness of K-9 teams globally.
During his last deployment to Afghanistan, MPC Whittie was severely injured during a high-value target raid in August of 2019. Injuries from this incident will undoubtedly have a long lasting impact on his health, as he is now entering his senior years.
MPC Whitie has served our country with distinction, and due to his special medical needs from injuries sustained in combat, along with the financial burden that has been placed on his handler (who now has separated from the Army, and is raising a family as a Police Officer/K-9 Handler), we are honored to accept MPC Whittie into our program so we can cover all future office visits, diagnostic testing, prescriptions, and surgeries at 100%, for the rest of his life.
Please welcome MPC Whittie into our PK9H Pack, it is an absolute honor to serve another Hero from the United States Army Rangers!
